image We all want balance in our lives, so how do we achieve this?

This is going to be a short and sweet get to the point post.

We all want balance in life and it really is a great thought to have.

This is what the dictionary says balance means :

[baluh ns]
Spell Syllables
noun
1.a state of equilibrium or equipoise; equal distribution of weight,amount, etc.
2.something used to produce equilibrium; counterpoise.
3.mental steadiness or emotional stability; habit of calm behavior,judgment, etc.

4.a state of bodily equilibrium:

He lost his balance and fell down the stairs.
5.an instrument for determining weight, typically by the equilibrium of abar with a fulcrum at the center, from each end of which is suspended a scale or pan, one holding an object of known weight, and the other holding the object to be weighed.

6.the remainder or rest:

He carried what he could and left the balance for his brother to bring.
7.the power or ability to decide an outcome by throwing one’s strength,influence, support, or the like, to one side or the other.
For the purpose of this article I will refer to #3 and #7, the highlighted numbers.
To me…when I read this it is all about having control of things…. I see this word as a potential life screwer-upper or life fucker-upper, depending on what words you are most accepting of 😉
We simply cannot have control of the people and events in our lives but what we do have control over is the thoughts in our heads. I you want control go buy a remote control car and feel powerful but otherwise let it go.
In all my life I have never had balance in all areas at the same time. If I had one under control or balance, other areas were in need of work and that’s okay!
So the moral of this post… don’t try to BALANCE your world cause you will feel like a screwer- upper and your thoughts are the ONLY thing you can have control over.
enjoy your day!
